I’m Gina and I’m a recipe collector. It’s not all I do though. I am the mother of five beautiful children. Yes, that’s right. You didn’t read that wrong and it isn’t a typo.

FIVE!!

Two are teenage boys, so those of you who have had to feed teen boys know that this is a never-ending job. Beyond the boys I have 3 daughters who are my shadow in the kitchen. The four-year-old is mastering the art of egg cracking right now (my eyes just rolled).

I’ve been married for twenty years to a man who has rocked my world since day one. We have lived all over these beautiful United States and I felt compelled to collect recipes along the way. I have amassed piles of loose recipes that I have collected from all the different states that we’ve lived in.

Every time I eat something I love, I get the recipe or recreate it. I LOVE to cook and craft. But mostly these days I cook (as I’m sure you can imagine).

So how did this website start you might be wondering. For one, I needed something else to do. An outlet if you will. I needed to occupy my hours between cooking, laundry, cleaning and everything else that goes into raising a small army.

I woke up one day (I had slept through the night without a toddler visitor at my bedside. Yes!!)

…and decided that I wanted to share my love of recipes with others.

I can cook, but I can’t “computer”.

I knew creatively what I wanted to do but I had no way of making it happen on my own. That’s where my AMAZING Dad comes into the picture. He was kind enough to share his computer skills with me and he is the “Master of my Website”. Thanks Dad!! None of this is possible without him.

Well, that’s my story in a nutshell. So, come on in. Our kitchen is crazy most days, but it’s always Cozy!!
